Abstract

As there are many researches on strategies and forms of competition but only a little explanation about strategy as a practice for creating superior performance, this study includes formation of business strategy, by the integration of organizational learning and innovation management. It is necessary that the characteristics of the organizational environment, reveal the formation of strategies on an ongoing basis, from cycles of continuous learning aimed at innovation. With this understanding, the purpose of this paper is, by a theoretical essay, introduce the proposal of a conceptual model for the formation of business strategy, in which it is possible to find pairs of requirements for innovation based on organizational learning. The discussions presented in this paper show that the innovation requirements based on learning collaborate for the appearance of constant innovations as companies seek to innovate, regardless of their size.
