Abstract

The article discusses the author's claim that American voters have a right to be angry and frustrated with regards to the impacts that globalization, technological change, and international trade have had on the American economy, and it mentions the attitudes of 2016 U.S. presidential election voters with regards to presidential hopefuls such as Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Economic populism and global competition are examined, along with China's economy and labor supply.
