Abstract
- The article discusses a social media campaign called #fairpay4NInusus undertaken by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Northern Ireland to lobby the health minister Simon Hamilton to implement a pay award for Northern Ireland nurses. The campaign featured emergency nurses across Northern Ireland posting pictures of themselves and colleagues holding signs displaying the #fairpay4Nurses to Facebook and Twitter. Mr. Hamilton asked the National Pay Review to recommend a pay award for 2016/17.
