Abstract: The article discusses the highlights of the meeting of the Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) 5-year Strategic Planning Advisory Group of Experts held on Septpember 15-19, in Buchanan, Grand Bassa, Liberia. Participants included representatives from Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and their goal was to shape IDSR activities for a 5-year period.
