Diagnosis and Therapeutic Management of Chronic Suppurative Mastitis in a Cow.

A crossbred cow was presented with swollen udder and history of semisolid udder with enlargement and pus drainage through a small opening. Radical surgery was performed and pus/ fibrosed tissue samples were sent for microbiological and histopathological examination. On the basis of laboratory finding, Streptococcus agalactiae infection with sensitivity to gentamicin and fibrous tissue proliferation was diagnosed.
