Abstract
- The article offers tips on avoiding deals by banks and credit card companies which try to trap customers. The author suggests that one should not fall prey to offers sent in the mailbox which contain money borrowing schemes on zero percent interest for a period of time. According to the author, the zero percent offers come with a one-time fee of 2-5 percent. The author says that after borrowing a significant amount at zero percent, further indebtedness is incurred at the usual interest rate.
