Pharmacological interventions for self-harm in adults.

The article discusses the study which identifies randomised controlled trials of natural products or pharmacological agents for self-harm in adults and compares the impact of specific medications with comparison types of treatment such as placebo for self-harm patients. The study involves 546 patients which shows no significant treatment effect of newer-generation antidepressants on repetition of self-harm.
