Jahrestagung 2015 der DMG in Frankfurt am Main.

The annual convention is the most important event of the German Society of Mechanical Engineering (DMG) in the course of a year. This year the key issue of the convention was “Railways Business without Engineers, is this Situation Visible in the Future? - Recruitment and Development of Junior Engineers". During the presentation of speeches different experts presented papers on the main topic seen from various points of view such as: from the perspective of science, of the industry, of DB AG and from the perspective of students. In a following panel discussion, the subject has been immersed. In addition, one Beuth Innovation Award was awarded to the young engineer Felix Kröger for his study about „Modelling and Implementation of Rail Conditioning on a Non-Skid-Device-Test-Rig“. A festive dinner with the awarding of the Beuth Medal of Honour to Dr.-Ing.
