Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 79-year-old female with a history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and obesity who was diagnosed with Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Topics include the surgery for laparoscopic cholecystectomy for biliary colic at a local hospital aborted as she was found to have a gallbladder mass with probable invasion to the adjacent liver, and a radical cholecystectomy with regional lymphadenectomy performed after which she was discharged home on postoperative day.
