Abstract
- In the article, the author discusses the disparities in the effectiveness of vaccines when used in lower-income countries like Bangladesh and Nicaragua compared to developed countries like the U.S. and Finland, as well as the efforts to resolve the issue as of February 2016. Also cited are the study by pediatrician T. Jacob John on the effectiveness of the polio vaccine in India in the mid-1900s, and the efforts to boost the effectiveness of the rotavirus vaccine in Bangladesh.
