Abstract
- The article focuses on Turkey's bankrolling of the construction of mosques in other nations to extend its prestige and power. It comments on the construction of a mosque in Tirana, Albania and mentions Albania's government only approve construction of new mosques for Muslims in 2013. It reports that the Turkish development agency TIKA has completed 248 projects in Albania and is building another mosque in Haiti. It talks about Turkish efforts to shut down schools run by the Gülen movement.
