Abstract

The article discusses the approach to the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) for the management of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries. Topics discussed include the adaption of AUC development methods; the supervised ACL prevention program which include plyometrics, balance and proprioceptive training, and high-frequency utilization; and list of treatments rated for appropriateness such as self-directed exercise program and activity modification.
