Abstract

The article presents a baseline analysis of the differences between substance use (SU) history in behavioral-variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) and in primary progressive aphasia (PPA) using the data from National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center's Uniform Data Set. Topics covered include the demographic and clinical differences in the bvFTD and PPA subtypes, and the SU variables in which the two subtypes were almost similar including the average number of packs smoked.
