Abstract
- The author examines the conundrum in the lifeworks of historian of psychology Franz Samelson. It discusses Samelson's questions in response to presentations at the first Cheiron meeting, a comparison between Samelson's works and those from the father of modern history of science George Sarton, his critical analyses of preconceptions and four percepts that can be found to inhabit Franz's work.
