Abstract

The article offers information on Feral Goats (Capra hircus) which is mammal brought to Great Britain in Neolithic time as domestic stock along with its anatomy. Topics discussed include anatomy of Feral Goats which include rings on the horns with characteristic markings on its body and face; appearance which suggests evidence of cross breeding; wild populations of Feral Goats in Britain and Ireland; and provision of increased milk and meat by Feral Goats.
