Ofício, Engenho e Arte: Inspiração e Técnica na Análise de Dados Qualitativos.

The aim of this paper is to explore procedures that can help the researchers on social sciences and humanities to examine aspects of the documentation of their researches by means of computational tools. The use of informational tools for qualitative research has some advantages. Initially, they allow the perception of meaning tendencies in large amounts of documents; moreover, they reduce the need for manual interventions by the researchers, increasing their productivity and their ability to make changes of direction whenever the dynamics of the search demands it. The procedures discussed in this article allow the researchers to determine their qualitative choices based on the centrality of the meanings expressed by their sources, significantly increasing the capacity of interpretation of the social reality.
