- The article discusses various papers published in this issue including one by Niss, Yeang and Bromberg on the research conducted by physicists on random fluctuations, one by Cheng-Pang Yeng on physicists and mathematicians in the early twentieth century, and one by Shawn Bullock and Aaron Sidney Wright on the link between the histories of noise and of information technology.
