Abstract
- The article focuses on genetic analyses of eggshells of Goniurosaurus kuroiwae (G. kuroiwae) found in the limestone cave in the southern part of Okinawajima Island in Japan and limestone cave used as an oviposition site by G. kuroiwae. Topics discussed include stability of hydric conditions of limestone caves for oviposition and incubation site for G. kuroiwae, eggs protected from dehydration due to humidity in cave and eggs deposition of G. kuroiwae in soil.
