Is He a "Social Danger"? The Franco Regime's Judicial Prosecution of Homosexuality in Málaga under the Ley de Vagos y Maleantes.

This article examines the effect of state and social institutions, legal arguments about social danger of homosexuality and other antisocial behaviors on trials for sexual orientation and their judicial decisions in Málaga, Spain. It discusses a ruling on the sexual orientation trial of a man, named Robert, by the Special Court of Vagrants and Thugs in February 1961 and the history of sexual orientation under Franco's regime.
