Abstract

This article presents a study on a clinical Neisseria gonorrhoeae strain, known as GU140106, with decreased susceptibility to ceftriaxone in Japan. It discusses the isolation of the strain from a male patient with acute urethritis, treatment given to the patient and tests that confirmed the strain as a gonococcal species.
