Abstract

The article discusses the need for the engineering educators to evolve as the world emerges with various issues on the introduction of new educational technology. A concept on the transformation of engineering educator is presented that describes the growth of engineers. Also emphasized are the importance for the educators to reflect on the degree of their transformation and the possibility for the engineering profession to naturally die if the educators fail to evolve.
