FIRST RECORD OF THE DEEP-SEA STOMATOPOD BATHYSQUILLA MICROPS (MANNING, 1961) (STOMATOPODA, BATHYSQUILLIDAE) FROM THE EASTERN ATLANTIC OCEAN.

In the present account Batliysquilla microps (Manning, 1961) is recorded for the first time from the West African coast off Morocco and the Western Sahara. In the Atlantic Ocean, this species was only known from the tropical western basin; therefore this is the first time it is recorded from the eastern Atlantic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
