MAJOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.

The article discusses the decisions of the Division of Housing and Dommunity Renewal (DHCR) on the claims of tenants against the Major Capital Improvement (MCI) rent increase applications of landlords in New York. In the first claim cited in the article, the DRA ruled in favor of the landlord as gas repiping can be considered as an MCI. The second claim focused on the approval of a rent increase for balcony and masonry works.
