Abstract
- The article offers news briefs related to Meat Industry Association (MIA) in New Zealand. Topics include the development of the Red Meat Code of Practice (CoP) by MIA and the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), the major research breakthrough on methane reduction from farm animals, and the goal of Alliance Group to reduce carbon emissions by 2018 under its energy management agreement with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA).
