Abstract: The article offers information on the literary works published by writers from Malaysia and Singapore. It expresses the hope for substantial growth of Malaysian literature in English in general and not just in fiction with the success of Malaysian fiction writers, such as Tan Twan Eng and Tash Aw. It highlights 2014 as a productive year for Singaporean poetry in English with 25 volumes of poetry written by more established and new Singaporean authors.
