Abstract

For over 10 years, composite membranes with Fluotop poly-vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) surface treatments have been used in major textile projects all over the world. The next generation, Ferrari's Fluotop T2 membrane, couples PVDF and hardening agents to provide an optimal graft of the flouro-polymer treatment onto the surface of the vinyl coating. This Fluotop T2 surfacing is an anti-dirt and anti-aging shield that also allows for better quality of light transmission.
