Abstract

The article presents a study that examined the presence and relationship of the variables physical function level, fear of falling, occupational status, and fall prevalence in a Nigerian elderly sample. It describes the survey methodology used in the test, documents the results between varying age and occupation groups, and concludes that fall prevalence is particularly high among the Nigerian elderly.
