Abstract

The article discusses a study on obesity prevalence and interventions targeted at military youth. Topics covered include the effects of obesity on military recruitment, retention and retirement, the relationship between physical activity levels and body mass index of active duty military personnel, and the relevance of implementing prevention and treatment interventions for overweight and obesity.
