Abstract

The article reports on how U.S. car dealers are changing their selling strategies to resemble the Apple Store, a digital distribution system for mobile applications developed by technology company, Apple Inc. Topics include how these strategies are replacing hard-sell tactics and days of haggling, how it is intended to improve customer experience especially of millennials, and examples of car-dealers who are shifting over to no-haggle sales such as Miller-Nicholson, Toyota and Chevrolet.
