Investigates the role of stress and activity on the circadian rhythm of Syrian hamsters. Phase advance shifts of circadian activity rhythms when animal is subjected to locomotor activity during usual rest periods; Effect of sleep deprivation on phase shifts; Phase shifts resulting from resident-intruder interactions.
