Abstract

A literary criticism is presented of the 1984 American novel "Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand," by African American author Samuel R. Delany. Particular focus is the book's depiction of ethnicity, race, human sexuality and what is referred to as technicity, or technologically-driven modes of social differentiation and belonging.
