THE ELEMENTS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE SURVIVAL OF ISLAM IN TITO'S YUGOSLAVIA.

The article discusses the struggle for survival of Muslims and Islam in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia under the country's communist leader Josip Broz Tito from the 1950s through the 1970s. An overview of Yugoslavian religious policies, including in regard to the religious diversity in the country, is provided.
