Abstract
- The article discusses the compositions and composers who received Honorable Mention citations at the 2014 International Horn Society (IHS) Composition Contest. Topics covered include the "Miniatures for Horn and Piano" composition of Sy Brandon, the book "15 Low Horn Etudes" by Ricardo Matosinhos, and the "Dancing on the Hill" composition of Patrick Hughes. It also discusses the performances at the "47th International Horn Symposium" held in Los Angeles, California in August 3-7, 2015.
