Abstract

This paper seeks to discuss a performance triangulation between education, cultural background, and aesthetic expressivity. And it does so from some aspects of Theodor W. Adorno's thought and Franz Kafka's literature. At first, we are interested in pointing out the close relationship of Adorno's philosophy with Kafka's literary texts, particularly in the essay Notes on Kafka (ADORNO, 1998). In a second step, we intend to point out in the novels The Castle (KAFKA, 2008) and The process (KAFKA, 2003), his non-performative performance of Kafkaesque literature. Finally, we emphasize the need for a critical expressive rationality of literary texts, such as Kafka's, to the contours of contemporary cultural education. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
