- The article discusses the slowdown in the growth of global trade, including in regard to the rising value of the American dollar, the slowdown's impact on emerging countries and the reduced exports. An overview of the impact that the Chinese economy has on the reduced growth in global trade, including its reduced demand for raw materials, is provided.
