ГЛАС НАРОДА – ЛИСТ ЗА НАРОДНЕ СТВАРИ, ПРИВРЕДУ, ПОУКУ И ЗАБАВУ.

In this work, paper "Glas naroda" that has been published in Novi Sad in the second part of 19th Century, has been analyzed. Texts were written with the language understandable to everyone and the price was affordable to every layer of society. Paper was dealing with education of the people, villages situation, crafts, economical issues and education itself. "Glas naroda" supported politics of Svetozar Miletic and his People's party, which is proven from the text analysis. "Glas naroda" is a media that stands up to conservative's and supports liberal ideas and church-school autonomy. That is the example of printed media with the assignment to educate its readers and gives them series of useful advices from different fields of life. In the very beginning of it's publication this media had very high circulation and had a lot of influence on wide Serbian population in Austro-Hungary. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
