Abstract

The article discusses the contribution of several physicists, mathematicians and engineers for early development of the airline company stealth. It highlights the contribution of Robert Watson-Watt for invention of radar. It also highlights the efforts made by engineer Alan Brown for "titanium tennis racket" screens over infrared sensors. It also focuses on airmcraft manufacturer Lockheed Skunk Works's founder Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson who directed modifications to the U-2 aircraft.
