- The article features 2015 Data+ Editors' Choice Award recipient and wildlife group Conservation International (CI) and its aim of developing data-driven information on tropical forest species to aid in the conservation initiative. It mentions the HP Earths Insights partnership of CI with information technology company Hewlett-Packard, the use of the big data technology of the latter and benefits of the project in terms of climate measurements, camera trap photos and critical biodiversity data.
