Strangers in strange lands.

The article discusses the history of the world's institutional approach to refugees in relation to Europe's refugee-related policies and an influx of refugees from places such as Syria, Afghanistan, and Eritrea who have traveled to countries such as Hungary and Germany as of 2015. The 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees in Geneva, Switzerland is examined, along with the attitudes of governments in places such as Slovakia regarding Muslim refugees.
