Abstract: The article discusses the former Turkish Prime Minister, member of the Turkish political party the Justice and Development Party (AK) and current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's call for elections in Turkey, including in regard to AK's inability to form a coalition government, violence between Kurds and the Turkish army and the AK's hope for votes from nationalists.
