Abstract

The article examines the formation mechanism and developmental characteristics of tight oil. It uses different materials and methods to discuss the formation mechanism and taxonomic character of tight oil. It describes the formation mechanism of tight oil on several aspects which include reservoir type, porosity, diagenesis and hydrocarbon migration fashion.
