THE ARGENTINE SOVEREIGN DEBT RESTRUCTURING SAGA: UNDERSTANDING WHAT COMES NEXT IN 2015.

This articles highlights how the U.S. courts have treated Argentina harshly over sovereign debt default matter. The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Argentina's petition in its June 2014 decision for certiorari to remove the injunctions issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY). Argentina has decided to move its restructured debt out of the ambit of the SDNY's injunctions.
