Influencia de la forma urbana en el microclima térmico de sagua la Grande.

The analysis of the influence of the shape of the city in the thermal microclimate thoroughly allows the knowing of the urban elements that support the transformation of the city to more comfortable outdoor environments through planning and urban design. This research aims to determine the thermal microclimate in Saguala Grande city from the previous knowledge of the predominating typological-formal areas. For monitoring of climatic variables, measuring points were located in a mesh throughout the settlement covering all morphological zones. The results have shown climate contrast between the urbanized area and its immediate surroundings, as well as at different times of day and between formalty pological areas that characterize the city. It is further confirmed that the measurement points in a significant relationship between urban elements that shape and behavior of the climatic variables. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
