Abstract

The article focuses on the interoferometric absorption design developed by the researchers at Qualcomm MEMS Technologies in San Jose, California aimed for ambient light applications. It mentions that the interoferometric configuration is consist of individual microelectromechanical system (MEMS)-actuated pixels comprised of a mirror, a thin-metallic absorbing layer. It discusses how the interferometric absorption functions.
