Abstract: This article presents a study on the isolation of ursolic acid and euscaphic acid from the ethanolic extract of Chaenomelis fructus and its use as marker compounds for quality control of Chaenomelis fructus products. It discusses the use of evaporative light scattering detection in analyzing samples, and the chemical structures of ursolic acid and euscaphic acid.
