Análisis de los efectos ecónomicos y sociales de la conexión por autovìa entre Cantabria y la Meseta.

This work is the result of a partnership agreement signed in 2000 between the Regional Government of Cantabria and the University of Cantabria to analyse the economic and social effects of the motorway connection between Cantabria and the Meseta, the high central plateau of Spain, at a time when it was still necessary to undertake the 175 km of the A-65 between Torrelavega (Cantabria) and Palencia. The study showed that the connection to the central plateau could be a factor for development and serve as a hub by which our Region could make full use of its strategic advantages.
