Abstract

The article presents science news briefs. Topics include the ability of autistic children to read emotions in body language as well as those without autism, research by Ivan Vakarelski and colleagues suggesting that ice-coated tungsten carbide balls fell faster and had less drag in water than solid steel balls, and features on a Tetrapodophis amplectus fossil found in Brazil that prove some snakes had four legs.
