Abstract

The authors reflect on polysomy in breast cancer and its role in HER2 protein testing. They mention the promotion of the test in the carcinoma by the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the College of American Pathologists (ASCO/CAP). An overview of its guideline and immunohistochemistry (IHC) is also presented.
