- Provides information on Geritol hypothesis, a method developed by scientist John Martin on the long-term carbon storage in fertilized waters as a solution to curb global warming. Investigations conducted by Ken Buesseler of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts into the efficacy of the hypothesis; Review of the findings of field experiments in order to test Martin's theory; Discussion on iron fertilization's prospects as a cure for global warming.
