Abstract
- The article discusses the topography-guided LASIK and Wavefront Optimized aberration treatment strategies that make the cornea a more prolate surface that results in correction of any refractive error and the creation of a better focusing surface on the cornea. The WaveLight ALLEGRETTO WAVE Eye-Q Excimer Laser system incorporates topographic measurements directly into the surgery and its benefits include a precise correction of glasses prescription and better optical surface to the cornea.
